Curry-IQ is built to help you cook great curries — nothing more. We do not require an account, and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email, phone number, or location.
Your taste preferences, your Spice Rack (the ingredients you mark as in stock), and the recipes you save are stored locally on your own device. This data stays on your phone and is not uploaded to us.
Because all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete all your saved preferences, Spice Rack items, and favorites at any time simply by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data in your device settings.
We never sell, rent, or share your pantry data or any usage information with third parties or advertisers. There are no third-party trackers or ad networks in Curry-IQ.
All recipe data is built directly into Curry-IQ. You do not need an internet connection to browse, search, or view recipes, and no network requests are made to external servers when you use these core features.
If you use the 'Suggest a Substitute' feature while connected to the internet, the app securely sends the name of the recipe and the missing ingredient to a third-party AI service to generate a culinary recommendation. These requests are completely anonymous. We do not send, log, or track your IP address, device ID, or personal information in connection with these requests.
Curry-IQ is a general-audience cooking app and requires users to be 18 or older to use independently. Because all user preferences and app data are stored locally on your device, we do not collect any personal information from anyone, including minors.
If we ever update this policy, we will revise the date below and reflect the changes here in the app.
